" Surprised my husband, whilst out for the first time since Covid19 deconfinement in order to celebrate our 11th wedding anniversary, with a Lordship. Decided to treat myself to a Ladyship at the same time. After all, I couldn’t have him Lording over me. Anyway, I’m the true Lady of the house ha ha ha ha. Superb. "

My Father has Scottish heritage, though he’s now the 3rd generation living in Canada. But I thought it would be a fun tribute to his Scottish heritage and a cool Father’s Day gift to make him a Lord. He loved it! He told us we could keep it informal; curtseying was not required. I made my Mother a Lady on her birthday, just to maintain the household power dynamic. (lol)

" Framed on my office wall. I, with my Scottish heritage, am proud to display my certificate on the wall of my office. "
